Licensing and Insurance

Grand Additions is a fully licensed and insured building company (QBCC 15105295.) We only ever use licensed tradesman who have the required, current insurances in place. Before every project we check all contractor’s licences and insurance to ensure these are up to date. Safety is very important to us. Every job has the necessary paperwork and assessments in place before we begin.

Meet the Team

 

Kerry Prichard — Director

Kerry is originally from Palmerston North, New Zealand, where he begun his apprenticeship in 2004. He honed his skills mainly in commercial and high-end residential builds.

He played an instrumental role in constructing and overseeing all facets of the construction process from site set out right through to the final landscaping touches and project handover.

Kerry moved to Brisbane in 2012 where he started specialising in residential renovations and quickly excelled, showing a full understanding for complex builds.

When not on site, Kerry enjoys sailing, fishing and motor sport, spending quality time with his young family and, of course, he is a die-hard supporter of the All Blacks.

 

Michael Kirkland — Builder/Director

Originally from Hervey Bay, Queensland, Michael’s farming background laid the foundations for his vast experience in all things mechanical.

He moved to Brisbane and started his apprenticeship in 2007, where he quickly excelled in high end residential renovations.

Michael has played a vital role in constructing and overseeing all types of construction projects for the last 10+ years. Michael has a full understanding of all facets of the construction process from initial site set out to the final landscaping touches and project handover.

Michael is passionate about seeing family’s dream renovations coming true and making a difference in customers lives.

Michael enjoys Kite surfing, Fishing, four-wheel driving and spending quality time with his young family.
