Does my project need approval and engineering?

All large renovations, extensions, new carports and sheds require building approvals. The only renovations that may not require approval would be anything that is replacing “Like for like”. Please always check with your local council.
 

Are you fully licensed and insured?

Yes, we are a fully licensed building company. We will not take on any work that we are not licensed for. Every job includes QBCC Home Warranty Insurance. Every approved job also comes with building insurance specific for your house. Grand Additions also has public liability insurance of $20 million.

Is project management going to cost me much more?

Project management takes costs out of the project. By managing the entire project and having good processes, we can take inefficiencies & costs out of the project and avoid those unexpected surprises.
 

How long will it take and how much will it cost?

Make sure you know from the outset exactly how much your renovation is going to cost and how long it will take. Reputable builders will offer a fixed price and guaranteed completion time as well as a complete specification documents.
